Vinacomin’s leaders with a working meeting with Institute of Mining Science and Technology (IMSAT)

On March, 17th, 2015, Vinacomin’s leaders, including Mr. Vu Thanh Lam, member from the Member Board; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy General Director; Mr. Nguyen Van Sy, secretary of the Member Board and representative of KCL Department have a working meeting with IMSAT about the results from the implementation of the scientific and technological tasks in 2014 and the plans for developing 2015’s tasks.

On IMSAT’s side, there is its leader board, including Dr. Tran Tu Ba, Director; MSc. Hoang Minh Hung, Deputy Director; Dr. Truong Duc Du, Deputy Director; Dr. Dao Hong Quang, Deputy Director and some managers and deputy managers.

At the working, Dr. Tran Tu Ba has made a report on the implementation of the scientific and technological tasks in 2014 and the plans for developing 2015’s tasks.

As a result, in 2014, the total revenue of IMSAT was 316 billions VND, of which, the revenue from the operations in the technology transfer and the scientific and technical services was 245.34 billions VND, equal to 76.69%, the revenue from the production and business operations was 73.1 billions VND, equal to 23.31%.

In the year of 2015, IMSAT will continue to implement the all level scientific and technological tasks and themes, the technology transfer and bbusiness and production and technical services in the fields of underground mining, open pit mining, mine safety, mineral processing, mine geomechanics, mine electricity and automation, energy consumption and conservation, electrical equipment calibration, … For the tasks in establishing the facilities and increasing the scientific and technological potential, IMSAT will provide the lab equipment, and make out the plans for improving IMSAT’s head office at Phan Dinh Giot street, … And then, Dr. Tran Tu Ba has also made a report on the implementation of IMSAT’s investment projects, the investment projects with its investment capital as well as the implementation of the resolutions from Vinacomin’s Member Board recently.

After paying attention to the reports and the ideas from the members, Mr. Vu Thanh Lam has emphasized on the role of the science and technology in the development of the coal sector and at the same time, asked IMSAT to implement the scientific and technological projects in 2015 in order to ensure IMSAT’s sustainable development, acting as a reliable basis for the production units within Vinacomin./.
